So a new year begins. Filled with promise. For cinema releases however this is another story. It’s the “promise” of cheap and shamefully low quality films to be released mostly as fillers. This is a month critics and movie buffs dread. January is by far the least favorite when it comes to the reviewing assignments. Maybe this will come across as audacious in saying this but I won’t stop now. I would really love it if even just one critic and/or movie buff walked out of the premiere of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World blown way! Breaking the statistically low quality film release in January curse. Wishful thinking? Maybe but isn’t this feeling what the New Year is all about? The potential start of something great! :)
